Votiva women’s health vaginal treatments take place in the private environment of our women-run Functional Medicine Clinic in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Prior to treatment, you will complete a consultation, including a physical exam and pelvic floor exam, with our Nurse Practitioner. During treatment, ultrasound gel will be used as a small wand is applied to the area of concern as safe and effective heat stimulates energy into the tissues. Each of your 3 treatments will take approximately 1 hour and you and expect to experience little to no pain, some pressure, or side effects. Many women experience immediate results.
Depending on the intensity of the treatment, there is little to no downtime. Most patients may have slight discomfort or the feeling of pressure during and immediately after the treatment. Some patients will experience no discomfort at all. You can expect to feel a heating sensation during the treatment and sometimes for several hours after.
